it's fucking crazy to me how we figured out how to put sound on things that don't usually make sound, and not only that, very Specific sounds. like in theory i know it has something to do with grooves or whatever but also i have no idea how that works or how anyone figured it out. like what do you MEAN you got a human voice on this wax cylinder sheet of vinyl string of wire piece of tape acrylic circle whatever the fuck. and computer files?? if i hadn't grown up exposed to this shit i would probably think it was witchcraft because even now i think it must be some kind of magic. like girl why is the plastic singing? how did you do that? and it's fucking bob dylan! i've met him! that's a real guy! you didn't just invent a voice, you took his and put it on the plastic! fucking crazy, man.
